Carolina Miranda (she/her) is the Founder and CEO of Cultivating Capital, a Certified B Corp since 2012 that works with small businesses to implement sustainable business practices. As a Green Business, Sustainability, and B Corp Consultant, she has worked with hundreds of organizations to implement social and environmental initiatives, get certified, and establish 5-year sustainability action plans. She specializes in helping small businesses align their business with their values by implementing best practices for social and environmental responsibility and is actively involved with the B Corp Women CEOs group.
Kelsey Moody (they/them) is a passionate creator of community and a proponent of using business as a force for good. Their background is focused on working in business development, strategy, and sales for small businesses in a variety of industries including manufacturing, tourism, and coffee. The moment they learned about B Corp certification, they instantly connected to the movement. Kelsey found their first role at a B Corp in 2016 where they also served as the company’s leader of their sustainability and values teams to engage colleagues around various initiatives and company values.
Grace Lasarsky (she/her) is passionate about making an impact both locally and globally and encourages businesses to act as a force for good. She is an NC State student studying Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in both Entrepreneurship and Leadership. She first discovered B Corporations through a club at her school called the B Corp Clinic. Through collaboration with a team of students from the Triangle, they were able to produce innovative ways for a Raleigh entrepreneurial incubator to decrease their footprint and increase their impact.
